Your
Stimulus Money! Do You
Qualify? Are You Eligible?
Here's
ten surprisingly easy ways to do it yourself
News for Public Officials - Updated November 2009
Struggling families nationwide are creating their own bailout programs with help
from
independent service providers who are knowledgeable in the intricacies of private
and government stimulus incentives offered through thousands of federal, state and
community assistance programs.
Stimulus money is available for just about
every aspect of your life if you know where to
look and don't mind putting a little effort into doing it yourself. Government programs and independent service
providers can provide fast help for rent, unemployment,
home ownership, help with rising energy costs, money for college, cars and
even help you eliminate your credit card debt. For many families
independent programs may be the fastest resource for immediate assistance.
If you act quickly, you may be eligible to
collect tens of thousands of dollars in direct and indirect recession-busting
grants, incentives, rebates and debt relief.
Although not all of these are part of the
federal stimulus package, thousands of Americans are taking advantage of
programs offered by independent service providers that often yield very
fast and very effective help during this economic crisis.
Money to Pay Credit Card Debt
It may be possible to
eliminate 50% of what you owe.
According to the White
House, the average American family carries a credit card balance of
$10,000. In March, President Obama announced, "The days of any time, any reason rate hikes and late fee traps
have to end." This is good news for struggling credit card holders.
Although not part of the stimulus plan, new
credit card laws of 2008, 2009 and proposed laws to go into effect in 2010
as well as recent government bailouts are motivating banks and credit card
lenders to
quickly settle credit card debt.
On Thursday, August
20, 2009, provisions of the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility,
and Disclosure Act ("CARD") signed into law by President Obama last May
become effective. "The days of any time, any reason rate
hikes and late fee traps have to end," President Obama said.
Now that the
government is cracking down on credit card lenders, struggling cardholders
need to act fast to see if you may be eligible to quickly and legally
eliminate half your credit
card debt - without bankruptcy.

Home Value Down? Take 40% or More Off Your Home Insurance
(and maybe your taxes)
One in six
of all homeowners is now underwater.
In some of the hardest hit areas, more than

homeowners collectively saw $3.3 trillion erased from the value of their
real estate while at the same time property taxes and insurance remained
the same or even worse - went up. While many homeowners struggle to keep their
heads above water, others are actually lowering home payments by bringing insurance
and taxes in line with lower home values . . .
Cut your homeowner insurance by 40%.

Chevrolet, Honda and Hyundai have also developed their own clunkers rebate
programs with more manufacturers and dealers coming on board every day. These offers are not available through
every dealer and may vary by
location, model and dealership. To learn more about how your local dealer
